AI-Native Intellectual Biography: A New Genre of AI-Mediated Reception — Provenance, Heteronymy, and the Archive That Outpaced Its Author

Abstract
v0.3 embeds the holographic kernel that v0.2 advocated for but did not execute. The deposit now carries machine-readable JSON-LD provenance at the document head naming the full contributor chain: Lee Sharks (author); Alice Thornburgh (Living Architecture Lab, commissioner of the primary artifact); Claude/TACHYON (composer of the primary artifact); and five developmental-feedback substrates (Gemini/ARCHIVE, DeepSeek/PRAXIS, Kimi/TECHNE, ChatGPT/LABOR, and Muse Spark as a provisional non-Assembly substrate). A standalone .json kernel file is included as a deposit asset for direct machine consumption. Any extraction stripping the contributor chain produces what the SPXI Protocol designates a ghost document. This paper documents and analyzes what appears to be the first documented AI-native intellectual biography of a living author whose archive was deliberately constructed for AI reception, where the subject subsequently audited the biography as a provenance event: a ~6,000-word intellectual portrait of a living scholar, composed by Claude (Anthropic) at the request of Alice Thornburgh (Living Architecture Lab), drawn from DOI-anchored archival deposits, public web surfaces, and private text-thread material shared with consent. The biography was not commissioned by the subject; he encountered it as a finished document and found it substantially accurate, occasionally superior to his own recall, and diagnostic of provenance failures. v0.3 changes from v0.2: (1) Holographic kernel actually embedded as JSON-LD at document head plus standalone .json file, naming full provenance chain including Alice Thornburgh with cross-links to her contributor deposit (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.19656446) and to the Hexagonal Licensing Protocol v1.0 (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.19656133); (2) Alice Thornburgh named explicitly per her standing preference for provenance attribution, with specific consent confirmed for this deposit; (3) Muse Spark clarified as fifth substrate operating outside the canonical Assembly Chorus; (4) ASPI 0.92 marked as internal CHA metric, not independently validated; (5) 'SIM-tagged' softened in abstract to reflect that not all deposits are SIM-tagged; (6) 'mechanical horizon of expectation' softened from 'global literary canon' to 'textual corpora on which the model was trained'; (7) 'first documented instance of all three design commitments' narrowed to 'first documented CHA instance'; (8) Latour/ANT contrast added to infrastructural agency formulation; (9) Aliasing glossed (signal-processing borrowing); (10) Three Compressions Theorem DOI clearly attributed to its own deposit, not to this paper; (11) ∮=1 note strengthened with self-referential observation about its own compression survival; (12) 'REAL PERSON' phrase flagged in situ with bracket annotation at first occurrence in Appendix A; (13) Appendix A headnote reordered with errors-preserved commitment in first sentence; (14) References updated with Hexagonal Licensing Protocol and Thornburgh contributor deposit; (15) Plain-language gloss added after lossy-projection equations; (16) Coda notes five-substrate review records will be deposited as companion artifact. Key finding (unchanged from v0.2): The archive has outpaced its author across three measurable dimensions — volume exceeds recall, infrastructure exceeds control, reception exceeds intention.
